Q: Why does Jim’s Pharmacy have a Free Vitamins for Kids Program?
A: “Simple, it’s the right thing to do for our community.”
– Joe Cammack, owner of Jim’s Pharmacy
Jim’s is proud to give back to the community and wants to help local families stay healthy. In 2010, we began our Free Vitamins for Kids Program. Children ages 2 to 12 are eligible to receive free chewable multivitamins. A sign-up form must be completed by a parent or guardian and Jim’s will supply a free 30-day supply for each eligible child in the household every month. No purchase necessary!
Dispose of your syringes safely and securely at Jim’s Pharmacy.
Properly disposing of used syringes, lancets, and other “sharps” protects all members of our community. Used sharps can be dangerous not just because they’re sharp, but because they can also spread infection or fall into the wrong hands. When you use a sharps container that was purchased at Jim’s, we will take back the container and dispose of your used syringes for free. We also accept full sharps containers purchased elsewhere for a small fee. Avoid the fee by purchasing your container from us!
Let Jim’s Pharmacy help you simplify your multiple medication regimen using multi-dose packs.
Multi-dose packaging helps our patients keep track of their multiple prescriptions. Sealed “bubble” compartments hold medications to be taken at each time of the day prescribed by your doctor – so you have a bubble for each dose, morning, noon, and night. No more having to remember which pills go with which and when! Complimentary for patients in assisted living facilities or on Medicaid, and available to all other patients for a small fee.
Bubble packing of single medications is available at no additional charge.
Safely disposing of expired, unwanted, or unused drugs is quick and easy at Jim’s Pharmacy.
The FDA recommends prompt disposal of medicines that are no longer needed. This prevents accidental use or intentional misuse of drugs and keeps them from entering our soils and waterways. At Jim’s, our Drug Take-Back Program allows you to properly dispose of most of your expired, unwanted, or unused drugs in our receptacle – we’ll do the rest, ensuring proper disposal of your medicines.
